I found Yam by complete accident about 3 days before my first time recording the band. Ripley and I had known each other from the music scene over a decade prior, so when they contacted me to record Yam, I couldn't say no.
Their art is a direct reflection of the backwards, sexist, selfish, workhorse hustle culture that we all find ourselves living in today.
